Can I stay for just one night?
Yes, we take one-night stay bookings for the Meadows during the week from Monday – Thursday.
Do contact us if you fancy a last-minute one-night stay at the weekend as we may have availability.
Where do I Park?
Please park in the car park marked “the Meadows at Polehanger”. You cannot park by your cabin, but we have wheelbarrows for you to use to take your things to and from the car, if you need them.
What time can we check in?
Check in is 4pm. We will usually be on site to check you in until 5pm. After this time, if we are not available, we will leave instructions on how to access a key on your arrival. We ask you to let us know if you are going to arrive after 8pm.
What time is check out?
Check out is strictly 10 am on all days apart from Sunday which is 11 am. We ask that you check out promptly so that we can get the cabins ready for our next guests.
Can I bring my dog?
No, we’re sorry, no dogs of any size. If you bring a dog, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
How many people will the cabins fit?
Marigold cabin sleeps two adults and two children. There is a king size and a sofa bed. There are no bunk beds.
Aster, Eyebright and Wallflower sleep two adults and up to four children (up to age 16). There is a king size bed, bunk beds and a sofa bed. The bunk beds are standard singles. The sofa bed is a small double.
Four adults (no children) can stay in a cabin at one time. Please note that a supplement of £20 per person per night will be charged for more than 3 adults.
Can my children stay in a separate cabin?
No, there must be an adult staying in a cabin at one time. Under 18s cannot book cabins.
Can we bring our friends on site?
No, we only allow those on site who are staying in the cabins.
Have you got cots and highchairs?
We do not have access to travel cots or highchairs. If you would like to bring your own, we also ask you to bring your own cot bedding.
Do you have hot tubs?
Yes, Marigold and Aster have a two-person hot tub and Eyebright has a four-person hot tub. They are wood fired hot tubs and are not chlorinated (so that we can use them to water the plants!). They will be emptied by us daily and you can re-fill them as required. We will leave you instructions on how to use them.
Is there wi-fi?
Yes! But no TV, so pack tablets if you think you need them! We do have a selection of books and games available for you to borrow (or bring a book to swap in our book nook).
Can I do a group booking?
If you wish to book more than two cabins, please contact us so that we can discuss your requirements.
Are the cabins wheelchair accessible?
We’re afraid the cabins are not wheelchair accessible. There is a step up to the decking and the bathrooms will not fit a wheelchair.
Do I need holiday insurance?
Please see our cancellation policy in respect of refunds. It is a good idea to have holiday insurance to cover any cancellation.
Do I need to bring my own towels and bedding?
Nope! Everything is provided for you. Beds made up for your arrival, and fluffy towels.
Is there a security deposit and how is it paid?
Yes, we ask for a £50 damages deposit at the time of payment of your final balance. This is refundable within 7 days of your check out if there is no damage. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more detail.
